For a rural Caledon student that is a real obstacle. You learn on quiet concession roads and then sit a test in city traffic you have barely driven, or you pay someone to drive you in.
We handle both halves of that. Your lessons happen in Caledon, Bolton, Caledon East, Mayfield West and Palgrave, and we deliberately include the busier roads and the highway work you will actually be tested on — not only the quiet ones near home.
On test day we drive you to whichever centre you booked and arrive early to drive the area around it with you, at no extra charge. What we do not do is drill live test routes. Rural Caledon driving means high-speed roads, blind crests and winter surfaces — that needs real skill, not a memorised loop.
StepIn Driving School comes to Caledon, Bolton, Caledon East, Mayfield West and Palgrave, including rural Caledon. Fully MTO-approved, and built around the driving you will actually do here.
Rural driving is its own skill: high-speed concession roads, blind crests, gravel shoulders, wildlife and winter surfaces. But your road test will be in city traffic. Whether you are starting the BDE course or preparing for your G2 or G road test, lessons deliberately cover both.

Graduates qualify for auto insurance discounts and a reduced waiting period to take the G2 road test. The BDE course includes 20 hours of online classroom instruction, 10 hours of in-car training with a certified instructor, and 10 hours of home-link practice activities.
Caledon has no test centre, so your test will be in Brampton or Mississauga, sometimes Orangeville. We drive you to whichever you booked, arrive early, and drive the area around the centre with you first — included, no extra charge.

We take students to any DriveTest centre — you are not tied to one location. Book wherever you can get the earliest date, and we will take you there. On the day of your road test we arrive early and drive the area around the test centre with you at no extra charge. Note that a travel charge may apply for centres outside your city.
